What does DiskFreeVault move?
DiskFreeVault moves selected macOS app bundles and, with Trial or Pro, eligible related data between the internal disk and a writable external disk.
How does DiskFreeVault move an app safely?
It shows a dry-run plan, checks the app and destination, copies the selected data, verifies the result, and only then completes the move.
Will a moved app still launch normally?
Yes. After a verified move, you can keep opening it from Dock, Spotlight, Finder, or Launchpad as usual.
Must the external disk remain connected?
Yes. The destination disk must be connected and mounted whenever you launch or use an app stored on it.

Free users can scan, review, open, reveal, and drill into results. Non-app moves and cleanup actions require Trial or Pro.
